Getting a Surety Bond in Arkansas

The state of Arkansas requires surety bonds for many businesses and individuals to legally conduct certain activities in the state. Estate administrators, contractors, and motor vehicle dealers must all furnish surety bonds in conjunction with an occupational license or other authority to be granted by the state. Bonded titles are also required by the Office of Motor Vehicles in many cases in order to register a vehicle in the event that the official title was lost or stolen.
