What is a Process Server Bond?

A Process Server Bond is required for persons performing service of process procedures, including the function of delivering the notice to appear in court to the individual named in the documents. Courts have very specific rules and regulations related to the duties of the process server. The surety bond guarantees to the court that the bonded server will execute these responsibilities in accordance with prescribed methods and laws established by the jurisdiction.
