A Sales & Use Tax Bond (Form A-133: Surety Bond) is required by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue for those seeking a permit to conduct business that is subject to state taxes pursuant to the provisions of Chapters 66, 71, 77, 78, or 139, of the Wisconsin Statutes. The surety bond is furnished in the event a demand has been made upon the bonded principal by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue for security for payment of taxes imposed. Business including alcohol beverage, tobacco product, cigarette, fuel and nonresident entertainers are subject to the surety bond requirement.
