Oregon Landscape Contractor Bonds

Landscape contractors must furnish surety bonds to ensure projects are completed in accordance with licensing guidelines and specifications set out by the state of Oregon. Following are specific bond amounts required based on project size.

• $3,000 surety bond if performing projects $10,000 or less.
• $10,000 surety bond if projects are more than $10,000 and less than $25,000.
• $15,000 surety bond if the projects are more than $25,000, but less than $50,000 or the business is a probationary business.
• $20,000 surety bond if the projects are $50,000 or more.
