What is a Nebraska Alcoholic Liquor Tax - Wholesaler/ Manufacturer/ Brewer Bond?

An Alcoholic Liquor Tax Bond is a type of surety bond required in Nebraska for those making application under the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission Act for the following licenses; Class L-Craft Brewery, Class V-Manufacturer (beer, wine, spirits), Class W-Wholesale Beer, Class X-Wholesale Liquor, Class Y-Farm Winery, or Class Z-Micro Distillery. The Alcoholic Liquor Tax Bond guarantees performance of the terms and conditions of licenses along with prompt payment to the authorities all taxes, fees, assessments fines, penalties levied or other legal costs incurred over the license period and pursuant to the provisions of Nebraska law or any court or other lawful authority. This liquor tax surety bond is written to run concurrently with the license or license term, and may remain in full force and effect for any renewal periods subject to cancelation of the surety bond by the surety company by providing 60 days prior written notice of such cancellation to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission.
