Missouri Service Contract Provider Bond Information

A Bond of Service Contract Provider is a type of surety bond required by the Missouri Department of Insurance to ensure service contract providers in the state maintain compliance with the provisions of the Laws of the State of Missouri. The surety bond is required by the Director of Insurance, Financial Institutions & Professional Registration and must be furnished before February 1 of each calendar year. The Bond of Service Contract Provider guarantees adherence to the applicable provisions of Sections 385 RSMo, including the requirement that the service contract provider faithfully execute its obligations to its service contract holders.
