A Private Detective or Private Detective Agency License Bond is a type of surety bond for those who have applied for a license for the purpose of conducting the business of a private detective or private detective agency as set forth by the provisions of Sections 71-3201 to 71-3213, Revised Statutes of Nebraska. A $10,000 surety bond must be provided and maintained with the Secretary of State of the State of Nebraska as mandated by the laws of the State of Nebraska. The surety bond is conditioned on the ethical conduct and strict compliance with the provisions of Section 71-3207, Revised Statutes of Nebraska as they pertain to the the business of a private detective, and this surety bond will be effective for a period of two years unless cancelled in accordance with the terms of the state.
