Florida Health Studio Bond
Florida Health Studio Bond Information
The Health Studio Act, administered by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, requires non-exempt health studios including clubs, gyms, spas and other fitness facilities in Florida to have a surety bond in place. The bond amount required is $25,000 for each location and the bond may be used to provide financial protection to members of a health studio that closes unexpectedly. The surety bond can be applied to reimburse members who purchase long-term contracts.
