California Fitness/Health Studio Bond

The city of Thousand Oaks requires a surety bond per Title 5, Chapter 22 (Section 5-22.03) of the Thousand Oaks Munipical Code (TOMC) for any fitness/health clubs. The bond protects city residents and club members against unethical business practices by the club. The bond may be called on in cases where the club fails to provide the sity with written evidence of refunds where pre-paid dues were collected in the event of the club's closure.
