Nebraska CDL Third Party Tester Bond

A Commercial Driver License Third Party Tester Bond is a type of surety bond furnished to the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles by those granted approval to do business as a CDL Third Party Tester (CDL) to cover reimbursement for retesting drivers in situations where the Commercial Driver License (CDL) Third Party Tester or an examiner engages in fraudulent activities while skills testing applicants for a CDL as set forth in the Nebraska Revised Statutes §§ 60?4,155 and 60?4,158 and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. The amount of the surety bond required by the state is based upon the number of CDL skills tests anticipated annually. This surety bond may be terminated by surety company by giving thirty (30) days written notice to the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles.
