An Automobile Club Bond is a type of surety bond required as security pursuant to Section 722.004, Texas Transportation Code, in order for the Texas Secretary of State may issue a certificate of registration to the automobile club. This surety bond guarantees compliance with the rules and regulations of the Texas Secretary of State and performance in selling, providing, and paying for club services along with any fines or penalties levied against the automobile club for failure to meet the provisions of the Texas Automobile Club Services Act, Transportation Code Chapter 722.
