Ohio Athlete Agent Bonds

An Athlete Agent Surety Bond is a type of surety bond required by the Ohio state law in the coverage amount, or penal sum of $15,000 for those acting as athlete agents and providing services for an athlete pursuant to a an agent contract as defined by Ohio Revised Code. The surety bond is payable to the state of Ohio for the use and benefit of the state or anyone harmed financially due to intentional misrepresentation, fraud, deceit, or other unlawful or negligent acts while acting within the scope of an agent contract on the part of the agent, a representative of the agent, or an employee of the agent.
